I wrote this song a long time ago but it took on a whole different set of legs when I collaborated with my sister from another mister Emily Chimiak on it. Emily and I have played a lot of music together and I am going to be hyperbolic here but I feel as though that it's always a magical time when it happens. We originally used this song for a project called Soft Layers but we didn't really do anything with the project. I wanted to add this song to this b sides album to show you all what I've been doing for the last 27 years of my life since I first picked up an instrument. Now this song was obviously not written when I was 16 but it's nice to give songs you've been involved with new life and this particular song deserves some fresh air.
